Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cookie is an extremely friendly and super sweet 2-year-old, 45-pound, fawn and white Pit Bull Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Cookie was found as a stray and was to be euthanized at a high kill shelter before thankfully being saved by Lucky Dog! It is obvious she was someones pet at some point as she is very smart and will sit on command and take treats ever so gently from your fingers. She also walks beautifully on leash, and is good with other friendly dogs. Cookie would make a wonderful addition to any family that would love to have a loving and loyal companion!
Cookie is very healthy, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. She was heartworm positive upon arriving into rescue, but has been treated and is now very healthy. To meet and possibly adopt Cookie, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net. Her adoption donation of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue. She is currently living in a foster home in Chicagoland and would love to find a forever home to call her own!
