Gia's Info...

I am in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Gia's Story...
My name is Gia. I am a Pit Bull mix who was rescued from an abusive home in Illinois. My previous owner caught me chewing up a shoe as puppies do and hit me with a broom handle. I thought I had escaped by hiding under a bed, but she drug me out and kicked my ribs and mouth until I bled.

Chances heard my story & brought me to Wisconsin. I've been living in a Foster Home for 6 weeks learning to trust & love again and am doing great! I like other dogs, kids & cats.

I will be spayed before I go to my new home. I am up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $250 and it is a tax-deductible donation to the shelter to continue to help other dogs and cats

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gia, a Appleton Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Appleton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Appleton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Appleton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Appleton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Appleton paves the way for another one to be saved.
