My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Gia. I am a Pit Bull mix who was rescued from an abusive home in Illinois. My previous owner caught me chewing up a shoe as puppies do and hit me with a broom handle. I thought I had escaped by hiding under a bed, but she drug me out and kicked my ribs and mouth until I bled.



Chances heard my story & brought me to Wisconsin. I've been living in a Foster Home for 6 weeks learning to trust & love again and am doing great! I like other dogs, kids & cats.


I will be spayed before I go to my new home. I am up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $250 and it is a tax-deductible donation to the shelter to continue to help other dogs and cats
