Gretchen's Story...
Gretchen is a 10 yr. old Airedale, possibly mixed with Golden Retriever. Though she is "elderly" don't let that fool you one bit. All I can say is "thank gawd she's 10", because this
gal would've been a handful at the age of 2. Gretchen loves to go for walks and
romps and runs like a youngster. She will need a home as an only dog but
with this bundle of energy, who needs two dogs? Gretchen is a lot smaller, than she looks in the pic, she only weighs about 50 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gretchen, a Los Angeles Airedale Terrier/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Airedale Terrier/Golden Retriever for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Airedale Terrier/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Airedale Terrier/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Airedale Terrier/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
