I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
You can read all about PETE and watch his video below! But first... This pet has been rescued by a good Samaritan and Molly's Mutts and Meows has offered a courtesy posting to help this dog in need. This rescuer has also been invited to show their available animal with us at our Saturday adoptions in West Hollywood.
If you would like to meet PETE...we really need you to fill out an application FIRST. You can easily fill one out online at www.mollysmuttsandmeows.org. Click here to go to application page.
And now, we'd like to introduce you to PETE. Pete is one awesome, happy-go-lucky, playful guy! He's approximately 1 year old so he still has some puppy energy but is also very anxious to please. We aren't sure what he's mixed with, he might have some Boxer in him too.
Pete is a smart pup. He's very eager to please and takes direction well. He is already trained with basic commands and will go into his crate when asked. He has a lot of energy. He's great with all people and kids. Pete has a 19 month old human foster sister and is very good with her, but because of his size and energy, he'd probably be better off with kids a little bit older. Pete's ideal home would be an active one where he gets lots of exercise. He's great on a leash, jogs and walks well, would love to go hiking, etc.
Pete is still learning his manners when introduced to other dogs. He tends to get really excited around other dogs. We wanted to get Pete started out on the right foot (or paw) so we have enrolled him in charm school. He is currently in a training program where he is receiving an Ivy League education (which costs over $2000). He's doing great so far and making great progress. Here is a link to a training session (he has only been in training for one week in this video) http://youtu.be/HJr8mGzA88k
Pete was found at the on-ramp of the 101 freeway near Universal Studios with no collar, no tags, and no microchip. Just a bandana and neuter stitches. Yep. He still had his neuter stitches. We tried to find his owner....we posted signs all over town, posted FOUND ads on all of the Lost Dog websites, etc., but no luck.
Pete is a great dog and loves to be part of the family and involved in all of the activities!
He will make a great companion and a wonderful addition to a loving family.
As a reminder....if you want to meet PETE...we really need you to fill out an application FIRST.
