Peno's Story...
If you are looking for an athletic, higher energy handsome boy, look no further! I am a 4 year old male that likes human interaction and attention. Play fetch with me and I am happy. Give me a bone to chew and I am happy. Leave me alone for long stretches and I’m not happy. Treats are a great training tool as I am very food motivated. But don’t leave food out on the counter – it’s tempting to me. I am social with other dogs and could live with your dog(s) or be an only dog. I am crate trained and housebroken. Because I am athletic, I should be in an adult household or a home with older kids. I am ready to go! Come on, what’s holding you up? Let’s go play and have fun.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peno, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
