Pixie Dust's Story...
Hi...My name is Pixie, and my dad here at Harley's Hope calls me Pixie Dust sometimes, probably cause I like to spread the love all over. I am just a sweet little girl. I was found wandering around Harrison and was in a confrontation with a Pit Bull...I just didn't realize I was little cause my heart is so big. The pit bill owner was going to shoot me, not cause I was hurt (I wasn't) but he didn't like little dogs. A young man stepped in and rescued me. He turned me over to Harley's Hope so I could find a furever home that would keep me safe and love me. Here I have gotten my shots (ouch) and I was spayed so no puppies for me...I can keep my little girl figure. I go into my crate, I am not happy about it, I would rather be with you, but a girl has to do what a girl has to do. So if you are looking for love and kisses then I am your girl. I will follow you anywhere as I LOVE people. Mom here: . .. You can't do better for a little lap dog than Pixie. She will happily sit with you for hours if you feel like being a couch potato or help you out in the garden if you want to be outdoors. Either way she just wants to be with you. She does like to harass our cats sometimes and they haven't put her in her place but we feel she would do better without cats in the house. She weighs about 5 pounds or so. She really believes that she should be allowed to sleep in bed with you. She just quietly curls up in the crook of your knee and sleeps the night thru. If Pixie is your kind of dog, call (417) 239-5756

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie Dust, a Harrison Chihuahua/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Harrison, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug dog from a breeder in Harrison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrison paves the way for another one to be saved.
