Happy Sweet Emma's Story...
This wonderful Staffordshire bull terrier puppy, Emma, is the daughter of dog sold by a drug addict for $20 on the street. She is truly the sweetest pup ever! Emma loves everyone and is social beyond belief. Her best friend right now is a cat named Chaos!

Emma adores kids: she’s been fostered by a family with a four-year-old and one with a 12-year-old who loved to play soccer with her. In fact, that family wanted to adopt her, but when their child got sick, it became too difficult – but they are heartbroken and call every day – that’s how lovable Emma is. She’s also super smart – the trainer’s been very impressed!

Emma’s around 4 months old and completely vetted, except that she’s still a little too young to spay. She’s all ready to go to a loving home – maybe yours?

If youÂ’d like to meet Emma, please contact Donna, at (telephone) 917-691-9466 or (e-mail) donnaerhardt@optonline.net. Thanks so much for thinking of a rescued dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Happy Sweet Emma, a Brooklyn American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
