Rockin' Rocco!'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rockin' Rocco!'s Story...
Rocco is an 11-month old lab-rotty mix. He is friendly and playful,
very intelligent, and still very much a puppy, though he probably
won't grow much bigger than he is now. (head comes just above the
knee)

Rocco was born in Crown Heights, where he and his siblings were given
away to neighbors after they were weaned. Rocco was given to someone
who accepted the "gift" on a whim. When this person realized he was
not ready to properly care for a puppy he surrendered Rocco to a
rescuer with BAA.

Since then, Rocco has been in foster care where he has learned the
basics of being a good boy. All he wants to do is love you and play!
He gets along well with other dogs, even cats, and learns quickly. He
still does chew a bit...and, full disclosure, word has it he snores.
: ) But he is healthy, happy, and ready to be yours!

Rocco is neutered, has his shots including bordatella, and is microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rockin' Rocco!, a Brooklyn Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
