Maggie - In Maine!'s Story...
My name is Maggie. I am a spayed, female Tricolor Beagle, about 3 years old, that came to Tall Tails Beagle Rescue from the Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick. I am a wonderful girl who has been bounced around due to no fault of my own. Thankfully - Tall Tails Beagle Rescue took me in - I know they will find my true forever family!

I get along well with other dogs and just love my walk!.

I am a smaller Beagle. I am polite and quiet in my kennel.

I will make someone a very special friend. Please give me a new loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie - In Maine!, a Freeport Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
