Gabriel's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gabriel's Story...
Gabriel is a wonderful young tabby boy who is looking for a new home. He and his littermates were rescued from the Moore Animal Shelter by the PAWS vet in Moore as very small kittens. Gabriel has been in a couple of foster homes in his short life (est dob is first week of May) so he is very used to people, cats and other pets too. He is easy to hold and curious and playful. He will make some lucky family a wonderful lifelong pet and would do well in a home with lots of people and activity.

Gabriel is currently in the Adoption Center in the PetSmart at N Rockwell and NW Expressway. Please drop by and get acquainted during normal business hours. All our cats and kittens are litter box trained, up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. The adoption fee is $70 (cash only).

The first step in adoption is to complete an Adoption Request form which we use to help us match you with a cat or kitten that best meets your desires, experience and home environment. You can request one at: pawsok@sbcglobal.net or pick one up at PetSmart. Thanks for adopting a rescued cat - they make the best pets!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabriel, a Oklahoma City Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
