Uluru's Story...
Uluru....the sweetest cattle dog you've ever met!

Uluru came to us from a local kill shelter. They thought he was about 2, well, we got him home and took a good look at him. Well, we figure he's about 8 or 9. Now, here is the best part....he's house trained, he's low energy, he just wants a family to love him.

Uluru is a very friendly dog...good with kids, dogs and cats. He has plenty of good years left in him. So don't let his age scare you off.

Uluru is house trained, he doesn't like to crate up, but he will if he has to. He's a quiet dog with no special needs...just your love. Do you have a place in your heart for Uluru.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Uluru, a Lamar Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Lamar, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Lamar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lamar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lamar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lamar paves the way for another one to be saved.
