Belvi's Story...
Belvi

Doberman Pinscher: An adoptable dog in Woodstock, MD

Large • Senior • Female

Belvi is an adorable 7- year old white Dobie with natural ears. As is not uncommon with these guys, Belvis eyes are particularly sensitive to bright light and she squints when shes outside. In addition white Dobes have sensitive pink skin and care needs to be taken that they dont get sunburned. Belvi is a happy, goofy, playful girl. She loves to pick up and toss around toys of any shape or size. Shes good with other dogs, but would do best with a non-dominant dog buddy or would be fine by herself. Shes mischievous with my cat, but could probably learn to live with one with some work. With her gentle nature she should be fine with dog-respectful kids. Belvi knows her commands and is very obedient. Shes extremely affectionate and over-the-top happy to see you when you get home and shes got one of the best butt wags Ive seen in a long time. Shes very housetrained and is crate trained, but is reliable when left loose in the house. Belvi is just a pleasure to have around. Shes looking for a family to call her own. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Belvi, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
