My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tyson is a 1 year old harlequin male with natural ears. He came to rescue from a shelter and as a result we have very little information about his original home. He is a handsome harlequin boy who is full of puppy energy, due to his young age and lack of training he will require a family willing to spend the time work on training with him. It seems that his first home didn't work with Tyson on any obedience so he doesn't know or understand all of his boundaries yet. He will need a lot of leash work to become a good walker, a gentle leader is a great help with him. He is learning sit, but when he gets excited, anything goes and he may just barrel you over to get the treat instead of sitting nicely. Tyson's foster home is working with him because he has no idea that it is unacceptable to put teeth on skin, he doesn't attempt to break the skin, he just wants to play. He is learning but when he gets very excited, anything goes. He has grabbed at people when excited and will just need a family willing to be patient and committed to training. Tyson thinks of himself as a lap dog, and while he isn't a huge dane he is certainly big enough to hang over the sides of your "lap". Many a full grown adult has been squished by him, as a result we think he would do better with older children as he can be unaware of his size especially when he's excited. He's unknown with cats but we are hoping to test him soon. He has a big heart and a lot of love to offer to a patient home. Give him a chance and you might realize you can't live without a lap dane.
