Memo's Story...
Meet Memo! He’s a stunningly handsome 3 year old American Pitbull Terrier who weighs 65lbs. Memo is a loving, active, friendly boy who is eager to please his people. This boy has a great personality and wants nothing more to snuggle up in bed with you. He’s extremely well trained and will sit, stay and go down when given the command. Memo does fine in the home, and is housebroken & crate trained. You couldn’t ask for a better friend that this boy! Memo would do best as the only dog in the home, and an active home where he could go jogging with his people, or hiking as he would love that. He does need adopters who have previous experience with the breed.

If you would like to meet this handsome boy, please email adopt@rocketdogrescue.org

Please put “Memo” in the subject line.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Memo, a San Francisco American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
