Jules's Story...
Jules is an adorable little terrier mix with ears as big as his personality. After being taken off the streets he had to heal from a skin condition but now he is ready to join your family. He has thrived under the love and care of his foster mom and responds with clownish enthusiasm. Jules has been examined by a veterinarian and declared healthy and ready to go. He has been fully vaccinated, neutered, tested for heartworms, started on prevention and dewormed. If you are interested in Jules, please fill out an application at homesforpets.org. His adoption fee of $115 helps defray the costs of his care.

This pet comes with a 30-day gift of Sheltercare pet insurance, the number one brand of pet insurance for adopted pets. Over 3 million adopted pets have already been insured!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jules, a Schertz Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
