Anya-good luck kitty!'s Story...
Anya is a fun-loving kitten who was saved with her sister, Willow, from being put to sleep at a local shelter. She's now looking for a loving family to call her own. She likes to swat her kitten toys back and forth with her foster mom and play with her sister, Willow. These girls would love to be adopted together, as they get along really well and have found comfort in each other's company during their rough start in life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anya-good luck kitty!, a Hurst American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Hurst, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Hurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
