Petunia's Story...
Hi Gang!! My name is Petunia. I am a 10 year old sweet tricolor beagle girl. I was at ths shelter with my friend, a nice little terrier boy, dumped by my family. Both of us were scheduled to be put to sleep, because we were so scared in there. Lucky for me, a nice volunteer lady came and got me out. She made sure to find another rescue group to take my friend, so we both were saved.

Now I am trying to find myself a new home. I am a bigger size beagle girl. A tad bit overweight, but more of a stocky sized beagle girl. I am really quite a sweet gal, and I would really like to get out of this boarding facility and into a nice, cozy home. Do you think you might be interested in taking me home with you?? Even as a foster dog or even your forever dog??? Please, think about it. You will find that I am one sweet beagle girl. I'm in very good health and just want to find a home that will keep me forever and not dump me at a shelter!! I hope I find someone soon!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petunia, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
