Quadra's Story...
Quadra is a very sweet, gentle, affectionate but shy young lady. No one knows what happened in her early life to make her shy and skittish, but she very badly wants to have human companionship. Once she gets comfortable, she will run to you as quickly as she runs away from something that startles her. Quadra is a pretty lady with brown mackerel tabby markings over an orange base, beautiful light green eyes and the tip of her tail looks as though it has been dipped in a pot of orange paint. As you admire her lovely, quintessential cat-ness, you will notice little tufts at the tips of her ears. Quadra has become confident enough at her foster home that she ventures through the whole house from her safe spot, to sit beside her foster mom’s bed and greet her in the morning. The best home for Quadra is a quiet and stable one with adults. Children might be too much for her. Quadra will do well in a home on her own but would be happy to have one or two friendly cats for company, and will be fine with calm dogs as well. If you are willing to be patient and give Quadra a quiet room with a "safe spot" and let her take things at her speed, she will reward you with purring and rubbing. She may never be a cat that likes to be picked up and held, but she loves to have her head stroked and her cheeks and chin scratched, and will be happy to sit by you on the couch. To meet this lovely little puss call Abbey Cat Adoptions at 416 284-2140. You will not regret it. DOB Feb 2 2010

About Our Rescue Group...
Abbey Cat Adoptions is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Each year, ACA rescues cats from outdoor environments and overcrowded shelters.
Our cats live in a network of volunteer foster homes throughout the GTA until they are adopted into suitable, loving homes; we do not have a shelter. We are not government funded and we have no paid staff; we rely exclusively on the generosity of like-minded animal lovers to fund our program.
