Emma's adoption fee is $300, and she is available for adoption in Prince Edward Island.

Emma is a 4 year old black and white Shih Tzu that weighs around 13 1/2 pounds. She is spayed, micro chipped, up to date on all her shots, and recently had a dental. Emma is an active dog that loves to play with her toys and other small dogs, as well as go for her daily walks. She is scared of large dogs and will bark at them. Emma is friendly with people once she gets to know them and feels secure. She's well behaved on leash and is fully housetrained.

Emma's a timid girl at first, and will need time to adjust to a change in her environment. She doesn't like having peoples' faces too close to her face, and isn't comfortable and may have unpredictable behavior if she feels cornered. Emma likes to know that she is a follower, and not the pack leader and needs to find an experienced home with a calm but firm owner where she can continue to gain confidence and feel secure in all situations.
