Garth's Story...
DSH Grey Tabby male neutered; DOB: July 2010 Garth (but you can call him Garthie) was rescued from a high kill shelter where he was on death row. A striking grey tabby with beautiful markings, he's a sweet, sweet boy who loves long lie-ins, followed by a good chat while you prepare his breakfast. He will follow you around the house and is happiest when he can curl up close to you or better yet, park himself in your lap while you scratch his head. That's kitty-heaven right there, for Garth. When he first got to his foster home, he wasn't a fan of the other four resident cats but they have won him over and now he's very good with them. His foster mom thinks that - while he's ok with other friendly cats - he doesn't necessarily need a cat friend in his new home. He's very people-oriented and is very good at entertaining himself by playing with his catnip mouse or a squeaky toy. He is an adorable boy who really deserves a chance. Although technically he isn't a kitten anymore, someone clearly forgot to tell Garth because he sure jumps and chases like one!
His hobbies are: chasing his catnip mouse, sleeping, talking to you about his day and birdwatching. Give him a home and he will worship you forever!
