Dolly and Beauty are precious sisters who are a bonded pair and have been together all their lives.
Beauty is 10 years old and and Dolly 9 years old and they have been well taken care of all their lives, we have the full history of these girls.
Beauty and Dolly are black Mini Poodles 14 and 15lbs and they look exactly alike except for a little tiny white marking on Dolly's chest.
They are healthy and very active so don't let the age fool you, but their story is one of the saddest we have ever heard.
Beauty and Dolly belonged to an elderly couple who absolutely loved their dogs and their cat who all lived together harmoniously. The gentleman passed away and the lady was left with her Poodles and cat, she did not drive so the groomer they had used for years would come and pick up the dogs and then take them home, the same with vet visits they never missed.
Two weeks ago the cat died of old age and the lady was unsure of what to do, she called the Town Hall in her town but the message was never forwarded on so no help came.
As the day went on the lady wanted to respect her cat so went outside in the 100* heat and started to dig a hole to bury her beloved cat.
The lady had a stroke while doing that and died leaving Beauty and Dolly behind.
Animal control was called and then we were called to help find these wonderful sweet little girls a new home.
We know their Mom would want the very best home for them and that is what we are looking for, for them
Beauty and Dolly love people and being loved on, they are lap sitters and want to be right with you, they would love to find a retired couple or person to love them.
Some may think that 10 and 9 is too old but don't tell Beauty and Dolly that because they are ready to walk when you are and will keep the pace as long as you can and will keep your lap warm when you get back.
Dolly and Beauty are going to get their teeth cleaned ready to give sweet kisses to their new owners, but they are so healthy they have not and will not loose any teeth, this is just something that Toy Poodle Rescue does for every Poodle over three before they go to their new home.
These two are the essence of what the Poodle breed temperament is, just gentle, kind and very sweet souls who have lost their owner and need to find a human/s who will love them just like they were. Is that you? Give these special girls a chance and reap the love coming your way.

Poodles need to go to a professional groomer every 6-8 weeks at a cost of about $50, so please factor that into the costs associated with dog ownership.
