Brook's Story...
Brook
3 months
Brown tabby male

Brook is still finding his way in the world. Fortunately, hes being fostered with his highly socialized brother and sister, Dresher and Candle, so hes learning quickly from them not to be afraid. Even though hes not so sure of himself, Brook still enjoys being picked up and held and petted. Once he realizes all is well, he begins to purr and relax. You can always win him over with a little toy or feathers on a stick. This adorable little guy loves to play and is very curious about little mice toys and rolling balls with a bell inside. Brook has made great strides after only two weeks in a home environment. In another week or so he will be as outgoing as his siblings Dresher and Candle.

Brook is fully vetted and ready to bring his gentle soul into your heart and home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brook, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
