Bart's Story...
"Howdy there...my name is Bart and I am a Boston Terrier. I am extremely friendly, very loving and I have a tremendous amount of love to give. I walk great on the leash (love going for walks), and I love hugs too. Wait until you see my extremely handsome face! Being a Boston Terrier, I am on the small side and I have short hair, and that means that I wouldn't take up much room in your home, and I would be easy to care for as well. Would love to have a small yard in my new forever home, where I can get a little exercise, and a nice bed to snuggle in at night in the house. I hear that all of the other dogs here at the shelter have been bragging about themselves, so now it is my turn. I'll make it short and sweet...I am one handsome fellow with a great personality to match my handsomeness! I just want to say that I would love to have a new forever home with you, and promise to be your best pal forever and ever. We have great exercise yards here at the shelter, so ask the shelter staff if you can meet me and get acquainted. Who knows, we just might fall in love with each other. See ya soon. Love, Bart". Kennel #7.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bart, a El Cajon Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
