Blue Girl's Story...
Blue Girl ("Blue") is a beautiful mackerel tabby who turned up on a kind lady's back deck one day begging for food. She is the sweetest, most talkative kitty and likes to play with her kitty toys. In addition, if you would like to strike up a conversation with Blue, she will respond by little meows and purrs.

Blue is tiny for her age of 2+ years and is making up for many lost meals. She has never seen a flavor of Fancy Feast she doesn't like! She is affectionate to the max and will climb on your lap for cuddling. This is not your usual aloof kitty, as Blue is very outgoing in displaying her affectionate nature. Unfortunately for her, this little girl was born with only one eye. Her right eye is deformed and it is the veterinarian's determination that her missing eye is a congenital malformation she has had since birth. Having only one eye, however, does not keep this kitty from being fast on her feet and Blue can move like a lightening streak when the mood strikes her. Blue's "bad" eye requires no treatment, except for an occasional wipe with a tissue now and then.

Check out the attached video of Blue taken by the woman who owns the house where Blue was found! You can see for yourself how super friendly this little girl is! (While the video was taken outside, Blue is now safe inside the home of one of our Stray Cat Blues foster homes.)

Blue is an extremely friendly and affectionate kitty and would make a wonderful companion for some lucky human who can appreciate her for her loving and affectionate disposition and overlook her deformed eye.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue Girl, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
