Betty Crocker's Story...
PLEASE NOTE: BETTY IS VERY POPULAR. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS DOG, WE SUGGEST SENDING YOUR APPLICATION ASAP!

Sweet Betty Crocker was found wandering the streets with a belly ready to burst with pup-cakes! Thank goodness one of our volunteers was able to scoop her up and whisk her away to have her cuddly confections in the safety and comfort of her foster home.

Betty’s pups have all chosen their forever families and now it is her turn to find the perfect new home where she can show off her culinary skills. Betty is quite an affectionate girl and gets along well with people and dogs alike. She is great on leash, rides well in the car and is potty trained. Her ideal home would have someone that is home more than they are not and has an active lifestyle. She would also love another playful canine buddy to romp with. Betty is an amazing girl and will make a fabulous cuddly companion!

Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $250.00 and includes, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip with lifetime registration, professional grooming and treatment for worms and fleas. If you are interested in meeting Betty and giving her a forever home, please complete an adoption application at www.lovebugsrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betty Crocker, a Irvine Havanese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Havanese dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
