Bonnie's Info...

Bonnie's Story...
I was on my way to work one day in June and as I drove by a local diner type place, saw this skinny, dirty girl begging for food from everyone. Some of the patrons were kicking at her....no one was even feeding her. I didn't want to be late to work so I kept driving, all the while watching in my rearview mirror, someone else kicked at her. That was it, I turned around, coaxed her with some food, scooped her up and put her in my Xterra and brought her home. Then I got her some food and water and put her in a kennel alone and went to work, a little late, but this girl was safe. No one claimed her.
Bonnie is a pretty girl, and she is good with all the other dogs and loves any human attention she can get. She'd be a great running dog...just a great companion. If you would like more info about her, please contact me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Bakersville English (Redtick) Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English (Redtick) Coonhound for sale in Bakersville, or seeking a English (Redtick) Coonhound dog from a breeder in Bakersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bakersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bakersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English (Redtick) Coonhound breeders who help with English (Redtick) Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bakersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
