Roxie's Story...
Meet Miss "Roxie" she is a young girl about 1 1/2 years old and she weighs 110lbs. Roxie lived outside most of her life. The family that gave her up to rescue did allow her in the house just once in a while, very sad.
They had children so Miss Roxie is good with kids. Roxie did not have much socialization with other dogs, so she will probably do best as the only dog, or perhaps a mellow submissive male dog would be okay with Roxie.
Roxie, walks well on a leash and she is learning to sit for a treat and she does pretty well on car rides. She is super affectionate, not having much in the months past, now she just wants to be loved, she will even nudge you for love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxie, a Phoenix Bullmastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bullmastiff for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Bullmastiff dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bullmastiff breeders who help with Bullmastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
