"Hi there everyone...if you are looking for that really special dog, who loves to play ball and absolultely loves people, and are looking for a great addition to your family, well...look no further, because here I am! My name is Benji and I am one of the nicest and friendliest guys you will ever meet in your entire life. I love to sit in laps, love hugs and love to go for walks. And,I just LOVE to play ball! My dog walker says I walk perfectly on the leash, and I play ball so well that I've heard that the San Diego Padres might be recruiting me for next season!!! I'm a pretty mellow fellow, and that means that I don't let anything bother me and I am very calm. As you probably guessed, I am in need of a new forever home, where I can be an important part of a family. I'm on the smallish side, so I would't take up very much room in your home. It would be sooooooooooooooo nice to have a new forever home that I can call my very own, with nice people who will love me forever, where I could have a little yard to run around in, or just rest in the shade. It would really be neat if I could have a snuggly-type bed to sleep in at night in the house. A visit to our nice shelter would not be complete until you have met me and get to spend a little time with me. So ask one of the shelter staff to take me out into one of the great exercise yards we have here, where you and I can get acquainted.
