Riane's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Riane's Story...
Riane (pronounced Ryan) - 18 mo old tri-color female. She is definitely geared towards learning from her master. Her eyes and attention is all over her person. She is crate trained and keeps a clean 'house.' She is housebroken and knows a few basic commands. Although she is very new to rescue, she has already learned her new name! Her recall seems to be right on however will need more time to tell for sure. She is a very social dog with both adults, male/female, and children. She is cautious when meeting new dogs and takes her time however has seemed to fit in with her temporary pack in her current foster home. More on Riane as we get to know her!
A completed adoption application must be submitted to NBCR before you can be considered to adopt this dog. There is also a $180 adoption fee
The application can be downloaded from our website www.nebraskabordercollierescue.com or email karenbattreall @cox.net and ask for an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riane, a Bellevue Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Bellevue, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Bellevue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellevue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellevue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellevue paves the way for another one to be saved.
