Fritz von Fuerst's Story...
Fritz von Fuerst is a handsome 3-year-old German Shepherd eager to find his place in a family of his own. Fritz is an active guy who enjoys his toys and play time. He will need some obedience training but that’s always a good thing to look forward to with a new dog because it allows time to strengthen the bond and build a relationship of trust. Fritz would do best in a home that is already familiar with the German Shepherd breed. He does alert to other dogs on leash but will settle down quickly with a simple leash correction or once he trusts his handler. Fritz tends to pull on leash when walking but our trainer will tell you that’s such a simple thing to correct. He sits for a treat and is super friendly towards people. In fact, you’ll want to get to know him on a “need-to-know basis” because he’s such a great dog so fill out an application already or stop by and meet this awesome boy today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fritz von Fuerst, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
