My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blackie was on the brink of deaths door when his owner decided it was better to have him put to sleep than to try to find him a new home. She was successful in putting down one of her 3, but we were able to save 2 before it was too late. Blackie was moments away from not being here to see another day and the woman was finally convinced a rescue was better than ending their poor lives.
Blackie is a sweet 6 year old declawed boy who just wants to be loved. He is a gentle giant who is not happy at all in his foster situation with other cats who all have claws. These cats pick on him and poor Blackie is defenseless. All the while he craves human attention and will even jump on the sofa to sit and get his petting. He is not fond of his back end being petted but adores head scratches.
He is a tad overweight but healthy. He is on a high protein diet to lose some weight.
