Dear Pawtential Adopter,

Well hello! My name is Onyx. I am a lovely senior lady who is charming, friendly, and good-natured. While it's true that I am on the bigger side and could stand to go on a diet in my new furever home and get some more exercise, PLEASE don't look down on me just because I am a big girl. I'm a sweet, wonderful kitty who will make a fabulous feline companion for someone! Plus my beautiful black coat and shimmery golden eyes with a touch of green in them make me a pretty girl! I'm a sweetie pie who really, really wants to find a furever home where I can be loved and adored just in time for Valentine's Day. Please come meet me and consider granting me my heart's desire of a loving, furever home today!

Purrs,
Friendly Onyx >^-^<

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Onyx, a Chula Vista Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chula Vista, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chula Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chula Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chula Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chula Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
