Parsley's Story...
Parsley is a delightful, healthy, active and fun, three-month-old, fluffy, male, black and white kitten looking for a loving guardian. Parsley was born in a foster home on May 15th to a cat rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control. He is full of kitty antics including playing with toilet paper rolls. He is incredibly sweet and loves to play with toys and other cats. He would love a home with either his mom Blossom, sisters Rosemary and Sage, or brother Thyme, or any other fun young cat. Parsley is litter box-trained and uses his scratching post like a good kitten. He is very healthy, neutered, de-wormed, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and virus-tested. His adoption fee of $75 benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control rescue group. To meet and possibly adopt Parsley, please contact Joy at Irishelephant305@att.net or 773-585-9717.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parsley, a Chicago Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
