Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello everyone,
My name is Kipper but my Mom calls me Keeper ‘cause I’m such a handsome and delightful little guy! She says I am so happy that I smile – and when I do, I light up the room! Besides being handsome, delightful and small (11 pounds), I’m also obedient, playful and want to please! Sound good? Then please read on!
Dad says to tell you that I’m housebroken (and use the doggy door!) love my walks (I actually prance) and rides in the car. (I’d really like to drive but he says I’m not big enough yet.) Not to brag, but I’m pretty smart too ‘cause I already know lots of commands. I also love to please people. Speaking of which, Mom says I love people more than anything! While I think grown-ups are fun, and I’m always happy to meet new ones, I also love the little ones called’ kids’, especially ones who are school age and can play gently with me.
I like to greet new people, do the Bichon Wave and can stand on my back legs for a treat longer than any dog Mom has ever known (Hey, I call that motivation!) I also ‘talk’ (well that’s what Mom calls it) and ‘stalk’ (my favorite stuffed toy, that is.) Here's how that works: First I crouch down, then I sneak up behind it and POUNCE! Then I toss it in the air and try to catch it. I love the little squeaky noise it makes! Mom says that I am very entertaining and lots of fun to watch.
I have a wonderful time with my doggie foster brother, and we play lots of games of chase! We love to run around the yard, through the doggie door, into the house and, when we’re done, we do it again! After a busy day of running and playing I like to snuggle up safe and warm in the big bed.
Mom thinks that I would do great with a family, probably another furkid and lots of love and attention. So, if you’re interested in a darling little boy who will snuggle his way into your heart, then ask for Kipper. I’ll be waiting!
