Vega-Adopted!'s Story...
Vega is part of a litter of six born on June 26, 2011. She and her siblings were found in an alley in Detroit, sick and malnourished at just five weeks old. Vega was adopted with her sister, Viola, as puppies but are being returned to us. Vega is full of energy! She loves being around everyone. The more attention, the better. Vega could easily adjust to any type of household with other animals or children. Her favorite treat is peanut butter in her favorite Kong. Vega has completed obiedence training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vega-Adopted!, a Detroit Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
