Gabe's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gabe's Story...
Meet Gabe, short for Gabriel. Because certainly the angels were watching over him. Gabe was thrown from a moving car, onto the freeway in Virginia. He had a broken leg but it has healed very nicely.

Gabe is approximately 1 year old. He is bilaterily deaf but he is very smart. He already knows, sit, down, stay. He is a Dalmatian/Lab mix.

Gabe is UTD on all shots and is micro-chipped. He is also neutered. He gets along very well with all other dogs, he has zero startle reflex. The shelter said that was because everytime they woke him up to give him medicine it came with a meatball.

Gabe has been tested with children and passed with flying colors. He wasn't even phased by the toddler who pulled and pinched all over him.. He is a young dog and has lots of exhuberance himself. He needs a fenced yard and someone that will give him lots of exercise. Gabe is full of love to give to the right family.

Gabe is currently living with his foster family in SW VA

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabe, a Middletown Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
