My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tallulah is a very sweet, gentle, snugly, and extremely friendly Plott Hound mix that is looking for a loving forever home to call her own! She is approximately 2 years old and is on the petite side weighing 40 pounds. This sweet angel found herself homeless at a kill shelter after obviously having a recent litter of pups and thanks to Lucky Dog Rescue, she was saved from being euthanized and has been giving the second chance to find a loving forever family. Tallulah is so affectionate and is full of kisses and tail wags for everyone she meets. She has a very gentle personality and is very responsive to people. She gets along very well with other dogs, but due to a strong prey drive she would need a home without any small animals or cats. This cuddly lovebug of a dog is very smart and knows how to sit on command and takes treats ever so gently from your fingers. She is very attentive and eager to learn. She also happily crawls into your lap for a cuddle session. She is good with small children and everything that goes along with kids like strollers and bikes. This sweetheart would make a PERFECT addition to any home that is looking to add a loving companion to their family.

Tallulah is very healthy, spayed, heartworm-tested, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. To meet and possibly adopt her, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net to get an adoption application. Her adoption donation of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue. She is currently in a foster home in Chicago and she would love to have a forever home to call her own!
