Prince Charming's Story...
Prince Charming is two year old, polydactyl cat. (He has very prominent thumbs on his front feet.) A hateful person tried to eliminate his litter and colony by dousing it with gasoline and setting a match to it. Because heat and fire rise, his litter, buried deep in the grass, survived. His eyes were scarred not by fire, but by infection. He is visually impaired. He is, however, an active healthy cat. He is very affectionate. He loves to cuddle at night and is one of only two cats allowed in our bedroom. He will be shy at first, and cautious until he has time to learn a new environment. He loves to be petted, hugged and cuddled, but does not like to be picked up.

About Our Rescue Group...
We love cats - of all sizes, colors and shapes. We are very distraut about the number of animals destroyed each year because people have failed to spay/neuter their animals. We do not support or encourage breeding or "pure bred" animals of any kind. Breeding causes the production of extra animals who do not always find homes and makes it harder for millions of mix breed animals to find homes. We think people who have the resources to own an animal should be responsible for care and neutering of their pets. Educating the public is an important part of our adoption process.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...
We have no formal method of accepting donations. Most donations come from people whom we help by taking in cats they find. We can always use carriers, KMR (kitten milk replacer), and money!

Come Meet Our Pets...
Most of our adoptions are from on-line contacts and the paperwork is completed at stores or in the homes of our fosters. We try to return calls and contacts as quickly as possible and arrange times at your convenience to come meet our available animals. Email is a good way to contact us. Hope to hear from you soon!

Our Adoption Process...
Adoption Contract
Only adults can adopt. If the person adopting rents their domicile, we need assurances that they are allowed to have a pet and are aware of any additional costs or deposits required. We do not allow cats to be adopted as a gift - except by a spouse for a spouse.
Fees for Dogs: $125 - $250.
Fees for Adult Cats:
25$ for most adults
50$ for declawed cats
Fees for Kittens under 16 weeks: $60
Fees for Kittens 17 wks - 24 wks: $50
The new owner must have all in home animals spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.
Cats are to be indoor only, with rare exceptions.
If the new owner decides they need to declaw a cat, we ask that it be done after careful investigation of the pain management procedures that will be followed. We can suggest several in the area that we trust.
