Danny's Story...
Hi my name is Danny, I am about 5-6 months old, Tiger gray/white neutered male with a white diamond shape on my back - you must come and see that - I have beautiful amber color eyes -- I am a cutie -- "that's what they tell me at the shelter." I have had all my up dated shots, combo tested negative, de flea and de worm plus my nails trimmed. I am a talker and will purr up a storm. I am a very affectionate kitty cat, I should do ok with another cat and maybe a dog. Adult family is fine, no small toddlers/young kids - I get nervous around them. I love to play with every cat toy there is.. I am lots of fun. My story is sad, I was dumped/abandon in a park all by myself -- wow -- it was scary out there. The park was huge and I did not know where to go.. so I just cried and cried until someone picked me up and took me to MHS. Here I am now, looking for a lovable home to call my own. Come on down and meet me or call MHS at 781-335-1300 or email masshumane@aol.com. I AM WAITING !!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danny, a East Weymouth Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in East Weymouth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in East Weymouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Weymouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Weymouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Weymouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
