Simba's Story...
Simba was rescued from the San Jose Shelter on 8/17/11. He was listed as a stray.
He is approximately 9 yrs old. He is bob-tailed and very thin at the moment. He could stand some serious fattening up! But he is very people friendly. However,I do not recommend this kitty to be placed in a home with children due to his age and frail body.

He is not good with dogs nor is he good with other cats, so needs to be an only "child". But at his age, he deserves to be the only one so he can be lavished with lots of love and attention. He will reward you with head-butts and loud purrs. He looks like he may have been a big kitty in his youth with very striking look and beautiful coloring.

This is a very nice cat who deserves a second chance. Simba has been fixed and vaccinated and is litter box trained. If interested, please email me and we can make arrangements for you to see Simba.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a San Jose Bengal cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bengal for sale in San Jose, or seeking a Bengal cat from a breeder in San Jose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Jose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Jose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bengal breeders who help with Bengal rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Jose paves the way for another one to be saved.
