Sue's Story...
Sue is in a high kill shelter. Please contact us
ASAP if you are interested in adopting this sweet gal. 646 724 0597. She can be euthanized any time now.

When Sue first arrived at the shelter, the sadness in her soulful eyes was no doubt caused by her being homeless. She's a 1-1/2 year 35 lbs old mild mannered American Staffordshire mix who was found as a stray. Her sweetness and affection are natural. And in the week since she arrived here, she's blossomed into a social and playful gal. She loves posing for photos. She also loves playing and giving kisses. She needs AND deserves a home....soon!
When Larry took Sue's photos last week, she was sooooooooooooo serious. Not anymore! She's a lively gal, now.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sue, a New York American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
