Marge Simpson's Story...
She doesn't have a blue beehive like her TV namesake, but OAR's own Marge Simpson does have beautiful brown tabby and white markings and a sweet, gentle personality. This friendly young cat, who's approximately 2 years old, earned her named after being rescued on Simpson Street in Fairfax. Like the Simpson's character, our Marge is a loving, easygoing lady, who's eager to please. Also, similar to the TV Marge, our unassuming girl tends to fade into the background a bit, patiently waiting for her turn to shine while the other (kitty) characters around her are clamoring for attention. For some lucky adopter, Marge Simpson will make a patient, devoted furry family member who will love love them unconditionally. Could that be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marge Simpson, a Cincinnati Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
