Mindi's Story...
Meet Mindi- she is thought to be a young Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, about 1 year old and only 39 lbs. Since she is built like a small greyhound, it may be part of her mix. She is sleek and slender, and would make an excellent running partner for someone, especially an early morning run...perfect for her, since that is her most active time of the day. She settles down well, though, and is very affectionate, too. She loves to cuddle up on your lap the minute you sit down. She's got lots of hugs and kisses to give, and best of all she's gentle. She likes the company of other dogs, and she enjoys her chew toys, too. She's a special girl with her whole life in front of her...will it be with you? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mindi, a Newport Rhodesian Ridgeback/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Newport, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Newport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport paves the way for another one to be saved.
