Scintilla's Story...
A pretty Dutch blend rabbit, Scintilla was abandoned after the thrill wore off, and put outside to fend for herself. She fought the odds, ate grasses and hid under things to stay alive, until kind people took her off the streets and now she’s staying in a place that houses rescued cats. The cats need her space to recover from their neuters, and Scintilla desperately needs a permanent home with her own human and other bunny to love. She has had a hard life but we are sure she’ll learn to trust humans again if someone will give her a chance and take her home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scintilla, a Los Angeles Other/Unknown was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Other/Unknown for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Other/Unknown from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Other/Unknown breeders who help with Other/Unknown rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
