Simon's Story...
Simon says adopt me! Say hello to Simon our tabby with the funny little face. This cute tabby kitten with white accent markings on his face, bib and paws makes him quite a standout. Simon was rescued from a semi-feral colony in the Berwick area along with his brother Harry at about 8 weeks of age. Born in mid March 2011, Simon adapted very well to the shelter and is now out and about with his brother and the other kittens. Simon is super playful and jumps high in the air to catch toys. He enjoys being pet and playing until he’s out of breath. Simon is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shots, litter trained and neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simon, a Bloomsburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
