Moonstruck's Story...
Moonstruck is a 5-month-old Siamese-mix male kitten that was found at a church. He is lovingly called Moon. Moon is very shy at first, but after a week or so he comes around and becomes very curious. He likes to play with toys or people. He is not interested in having other cats around, but will tolerate them. He is not shy and will climb into your lap asking to be petted. He is very independent, but a very sweet boy. Moon’s adoption fee is $75 and helps defer the costs that Homes for Pets incurs for spaying and neutering, vaccinating, deworming and having our foster animals examined by Veterinarians.

This pet comes with a 30-day gift of Sheltercare pet insurance, the number one brand of pet insurance for adopted pets. Over 3 million adopted pets have already been insured!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moonstruck, a Schertz Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
