Lily seems to savor attention, since she's been ignored so much of her life. She is in excellent condition, compact and medium-small. I'm told she was the runt of her litter. She has a lovely soft coat (mackeral pattern) and short legs. She doesn't "talk" much but is capable. Now that her babies don't need her, she watches the other cats from various hangouts. We believe she has just turned 5 years old.
This is a rare cat in that we know she was mothered by a Siamese cat and shipped from Ohio to a new home in Mesa. Her new owners adopted a kitten, turned Lilly outside (where she got pregnant) and moved away. The lady that knew Lily's home in Ohio, begged SOS Kitty to rescue Lilly ... since the woman lived in a tiny apartment with three cats of her own.
Lilly gave birth 24 hours after we collected her and has been a wonderful mother cat with a first & only litter at 4 years old. She had two kittens in my home and helped rescue one kitten at three weeks ... then another singleton kitten convinced her to take her on for a few weeks, too, after Lilly's were mostly weaned. She was a wonderful and very protective mother and stepmother! She gets along very well with her daughter, Puff, who just turned one year old... but they are fine apart, too.

Lilly deserves a human of her own that will put her needs first. She is very social and responds with joy to petting and affection. She's a wonderful cat.
