My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our precious little doe-eyed girl named Jane. At just 3½ months old, this sweet Sheltie/Fox Terrier mix is already in search of a forever home. As if her beautiful face wasn’t enough to make you fall in love, her wonderful personality will surely do the trick. Jane is such a friendly girl who is full of puppy love and energy. She gets along well with other dogs and cat and is already crate-trained. Jane is a true people pleaser who just wants someone to shower her with lots and lots of unconditional love. So, if you’re ready to open up your heart and home to this sweet puppy contact Friends With Four Paws as soon as you can.

Our adoption fees are based on the age of the dog and range from $250 to $500. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, 30 days of pet insurance, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter, which is a high volume, high kill facility. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where it is kept for a minimum of 2 weeks for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. After the 2 week quarantine time they are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. They are then placed on the website. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested in it, we make arrangements with the waiting foster to pick the animal up from the airport to then meet with the potential adopter. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
