Tramp's Story...
Five-month old Tramp (as of Aug 20, 2011) is absolutely the most affectionate and loving kitten I have ever met! He wants to be so close to you that he ends up draped across your neck or practically sitting on your head, all the while purring and making biscuits. He even purred and made biscuits while on the vet's examination table. Tramp is a smart little cat who will make someone the best companion ever.

Campus Cats requires adopters to provide a cat carrier in order to transport their new family member home, and adopts to indoor-only homes. No adoption fee, but we do ask for a donation so that we can help more cats and kittens like Tramp.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tramp, a Wakinsville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wakinsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wakinsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wakinsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wakinsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wakinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
