My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Elizabeth. I was found in the road by a man as he thought I was going to get hit by a car so he brought me into the shelter, where I would be safe. I am about four months old. The shelter is real full and I would love to find a foster home in the northeast so I can have a safe place to look for my forever home.

As I am a beauty queen, I LOVE to look at myself in the mirror! The folks here think that's quite funny, but I could stare at myself all day.

I am currently living with multiple dogs and am just fine with everybody. I have met some cats but don't want to chase them and, in fact, I just ignore them. I am housetrained and am very well socialized. I would love to join your family!

Elizabeth Taylor has already been nicknamed "Lizzy" by her foster family. After just one day she is settling in beautifully. She is the tiniest little thing, not more than 20 lbs, and she absolutely loves their children, playing with the cats and also snuggling with all the humans after play time has worn her out. She is a beautiful little girl with a sleek body, she looks like she could be an Italian Greyhound/Lab mix but whatever she is, she is 100% adorable and snuggly!"

Thank you for considering rescue!

**Please note: we do not have a physical location, we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.**
